Project Period Transportation
Public TransportAll venues can be reached by public transport. As the Organising Committee are not providing transport cards, please purchase a Zone Card on arrival.
Purchasing a Zone CardYou can purchase one at a Payzone store. The app has been described as "truly abysmal" and "infuriating" — a physical card is strongly recommended. Find your nearest Payzone store ↗
ReceiptsPlease save all receipts for reimbursement.
Taxis
Outside Public Transport HoursIf your shift times fall outside of public transport schedules, please inform your PM or Niamh O'Meara to get a taxi approved.
Approval RequiredAll taxi costs must be cleared with management first.
NoticePlease give as much notice as possible — a few hours minimum.
On Site
Everything you need once you're on the ground. This section will be updated before your start date.
Site Access
Install PeriodYou will receive a Bump In pass on arrival when you show your downloaded Induction Completion Certificate. PPE is required from Day 1.
Operations PeriodOnce the venue goes into lockdown you will need your accreditation pass to access site. Collect this from the UAC before the operational period begins.
Food on Site
MealsMeals are not provided on site. You are welcome to bring a packed lunch — please plan ahead for this. Your accommodation includes a kitchenette, so you'll have the option to prepare food before and after shifts.
First Aid & Incidents
If there is any injury or incident on site, please go to the VTM first, then inform Niamh O'Meara as soon as possible afterwards.
Reporting
AudioVTM
At the beginning and end of every shift, all staff must report to the VTM. The VTM is our main contact for all technology requirements on venue. If you have any operational issues relating to the technical infrastructure — power, cabling, rigging, structures — the VTM is the first point of contact.
Sports Presentation (SPP)
You are on site to support the Sports Presentation team. Check in with the SPP Producer for any schedule changes — this is particularly important during the rehearsal period. Report any changes back to Niamh.
Technical Incidents
Technical incidents or issues should be internally reported to your PM. Please use your own discretion on whether an incident can be managed in a timely manner within the venue team, or if you need managerial support, or if your PM should be made aware of the incident.
Uniform
You will receive a Clair t-shirt on arrival. During the competition period please wear unbranded blacks or Clair apparel provided.
